Patrice C. October 2018 Our family of 15 rented all 3 cottages and we had room to spare! Comfy and pretty cottage decor and great kitchens made our stay easy to use and so much fun! Central and close to several beaches as well as walking distance to one beach and downtown Douglas. We plan to go back next year!

Susan R. October 2018 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottages. I have rented from quite a few places and this one was very well appointed – they thought of just about everything and communication was fantastic! The cabins were clean, quiet, cozy and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and they had spare blankets rolled up and waiting for snuggling on the couch or extra warmth for sleeping. We had 13 and it worked out perfectly. For a group larger than that, unless you have some smaller kids, bed situation would get tight, as you would be sharing some queen and double beds (unless you use the 2 pullouts in the smaller cottages) which I would think would get tight, but that is just coming from a group of ladies that like their space when we have the chance to get away.It is a great location, walking distance to beach and Douglas town center or a quick taxi ride to Saugatuck. We had a blast and would definitely look to book here again!

Ashley October 2018 This place is fantastic! The backyard is well kept, fun to start the fire pit at night or bring your bags set to play. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need to cook a meal for a large group! Every room and bathroom was very clean and the beds comfortable! Not far from downtown Saugatuck. Will definitely come back for our next group trip!

Sarah September 2018 Wow! Amazing cottages. Super clean, very fashionable (love the tile), even beautiful dishes and cookware. Beds and couches are so comfy. We had 13 in our party for a retreat and everyone got their own bed. The backyard was great, and the proximity to the beach etc. was very convenient. We will certainly be back!

Lisa August 2018 Willow tree cottages were excellent! Within one mile to GORGEOUS beach and lovely town of Douglas for dinner, shopping and breakfast coffee. Plenty of amenities for cooking meals for large group, comfortable and clean beds and nice bathrooms and kitchens in all three cottages. Fire pits with plentiful wood and working grills and chairs for all! A very fun weekend for our group of 13. Extra beds in a couple bedrooms were not used. Would be nice to sleep kids and their friends together.

It was wonderful to break the families down into the different cottages, but have the main cottage for our central location.We had a fire pit and listened to music, cooked some wonderful fish on the awesome grills. The cottages had everything we needed.We couldn’t have been happier at this wonder little compound!!!Thank you Angie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alberto D. May 2018 This place is perfect for big groups or big families. Having three cottages provided privacy for the different families. Also, it is within walking distance to a lot of entertainment. Communication with the owner was perfect. Everything was as described. Thank you!

TOM M. August 2017 IT’S TRUE….INCREDIBLE! We have just returned from spending an AMAZING week at the cottages. We came for a family reunion (TX, IA, IL, MI, MN) with 5 small children and 10 adults. There were plenty of bed/bathrooms for all of us. We cooked/shared our meals outside every night and “relived” our adventures around the fire pit. The spacious yard kept the kids entertained. We walked to Douglas almost every day, and Saugatuck a couple of times also. Douglas Beach, Oval Beach and Baldhead Mountain are just down the road. One dreary morning we picked blueberries. Angie is great at communicating all of the details for the stay and was always available to answer questions. We were surprised at the cleanliness and the well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms. We hope to make this a yearly adventure for our group!

Jessica G. July 2017 Great Property! Our group of 19 stayed at the cottages for a week long summer vacation. These cottages are beautifully finished and decorated. We couldn’t believe how incredibly CLEAN it was. We cooked breakfast and dinner everyday and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of bath towels and even some beach towels were available. Having a washer and dryer available was especially helpful. Plenty of firewood for fires at night but don’t forget to bring the bug spray! Spent our days at beautiful Oval Beach and watched the sunset at Douglas Beach which is less than a miles walk. Great location, so close to many attractions. Would definitely book this property again.

Julie September 2017 This was a great place for a group gathering. Everything was super clean and user friendly. We had a lovely time seeing the sights and visiting with friends over Labor Day weekend. Angie was easy to work with and all went smoothly.

Jim June 2017 There were 17 of us in 7 different groups that stayed here for a family reunion. The cottages are setup so that we could accommodate everyone with a bed a private bath. The outdoor space is great, very nicely set up for barbecuing and outdoor dining with picnic tables and a serving table. Plenty of seasoned firewood made for great fires to sit around in the evening. The owners have been very thoughtful in their renovation, many highend touches.

Chris October 2017 Angie’s place is located perfectly, close to the town, to the lake and has beautiful surroundings around. Very spacious, we had a group of 16 with kids and we all had an awesome time.

Quinn August 2016 We stayed in all 3 cottages, they were adorable, clean and comfortable! We had the best time with downtown Douglas a 5 min walk, Oval beach a 5 min drive and downtown Saugatuck a 5 min drive. We are already planning a trip for next summer!

Keri September 2017 Angie’s place is PERFECT for a weekend getaway. It was cozy and spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The location is great – a short walk to the beach, grocery store, and downtown Douglas area, and a very short drive or long walk to Saugatuck! I will definitely remember this place when looking to do a weekend away in the future. The outdoor space is great, as well, and lends itself to lots of opportunities for activities! Definitely a home I’ll return to in the future!

Yves August 2017 This house is exactly as advertised. Saugatuck and surrounding beaches are really nice. If you have a good road bike, a trip to the red lighthouse in Macatawa is also fun. I highly recommend.

Jean June 2017 The cottage is adorable, clean and well equipped! Great location! Just minutes away from Oval beach and downtown Saugatuck. Our family enjoyed cycling, kayaking, shopping, hiking, relaxing on the beach and evening bonfires under the stars! Angie is very accessible and accommodating! It was one of the best family vacations we’ve had!!!

Sarah June 2017 This place was beautiful– even nicer than the pictures. You can walk to the beach in about 15 minutes and to downtown Douglas in 5-10 minutes. The beds were comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this house.
